Know your NPTE pathway

The NPTE-PT includes 225 items in 5 sections of 45, with 5 hours of testing time. 180 items are scored and 45 are pretest items. One best answer is selected for each item. Linked scenarios contain 2–5 independent questions and appear at section ends.

The scheduled 15-minute break follows section 2 and is outside testing time. Unscheduled breaks use testing time.

Practice and review

PTwise’s owner-approved initial web release includes 900 practice items and randomized full-length exam attempts for this pathway. The reserved exam pools are separate from practice. Independent clinical review and piloting remain pending.

Review every option’s explanation, revisit weak concepts, and use the signed-in preparation page’s pacing planner to build a realistic study routine.

PTwise’s educational score display is independent of FSBPT and cannot predict a pass. Original graphic and video items are not yet included.
